DB RUNNING

Partner with a World Marathon Majors Athlete

Three stars down, five to go. Next up: the EDP Lisbon Marathon, Saturday 10 October 2026. Berlin and New York through the ballots. Los Angeles, Manchester, Leeds and the Big Half on my calendar. Tokyo, Cape Town and Boston are still to come. A working driver from Slough chasing something only 2,340 runners have done so far: all eight Majors (the count in Abbott's Eight Star Hall of Fame on 29 September 2026). Come with me, and put your brand in front of an audience that is watching every mile of it.

Dates, entries and plans can change. Ballots, bookings, injuries, illness, cancellations and new races all play a part. I send a voice note every week and this site follows it.

Why this window

Five races, two ballots

Lisbon, Los Angeles, Manchester, Leeds and the Big Half on the calendar, with Berlin and New York through the ballots on top. Real start lines and real content windows, not a vague “someday” plan. See the road ahead.

The field just got bigger

Abbott added Cape Town as the eighth Major in June 2026. Everyone chasing the full set is recalculating right now. That conversation is live, and I'm in the middle of it.

Relatable, not elite

I'm not a sponsored pro. I'm a location driver who trains around shifts. That is exactly the runner your customers are, which is why the gear I actually use gets asked about.

Running the World Marathon Majors from the UK costs approximately £20,000 to £25,000 over 3 years. Here's where the money goes, and how your brand can directly impact the journey: the yearly costs first, then flights, hotels and entry fees for every trip on the calendar over the next two years. Tokyo, Cape Town and Boston come after those, and are not priced trip by trip yet.
